About 10 years ago, I had a steel roof installed in my previous home and was generally satisfied with the result…until rust began to appear…Sure, it was still better than the replace-every-couple-of-years shingles.
But, after having moved to my new home, I was concerned about the existing shingles…should I replace with the same or should I think about metal again? After doing my homework, I decided to contact Classic Products who provided me with pertinent information explaining the advantages of aluminum over steel, quality processes and controls, shake styles, colours, pricing, warranties etc.
In just two days, Classic’s installation crew (Avon Roofing Ltd) of 7 excellent workers, installed the new aluminum roof. These incredible gentlemen were meticulous, polite, neat and above all, true professionals. Thank you guys !.
The roof colour I chose is `Anodized Bronze’, which depending on time of day and where one views it, can ether appear either very dark or as light as gold. It really is quite beautiful..
Ultimately, I know I’ll never have to think about another roof for at least 30 years…You can’t say the same about those good old shingles..

Je viens de faire couvrir ma maison avec des bardeaux d’aluminium ”rustic” du couvreur Toiture Aluminium Classic inc. C’est un produit que j’aime bien car il a une très belle apparence, ne rouille pas, il est très léger, aussi il va durer le reste du temps que je vais habiter cette maison et la garantie de 50 ans est transférable au propriétaire suivant. Je recommande fortement cette installateur qui à plusieurs années d’expériences M. Gilles Boulianne avec son équipe à tous ceux qui veulent avoir un travail très bien fait, ils sont minutieux, attentionnés et ils ont le soucis du détail. Ils mettre même des toiles sur les murs de la maison pour protéger le revêtement extérieur. A tous les étapes de leurs travail, les résidus sont bien nettoyer en laissant le tour de la maison propre. Je suis très satisfait de ma nouvelle toiture. Je projette même de faire couvrir mon cabanon avec ce même produit et bien sûr avec ce même couvreur!!
Great Looking Metal Roof
We dealt with Peter who was wonderful, courteous, professional and very informative but NOT pushy! Met Darryl when he delivered the roofing material and answered some concerns we had about some project. When the installers arrived, Avon roofing were very professional and proficient, hard-working, knowledgeable and pleasant. Prior to departing every evening they cleaned up all around the house. We love the look of the roof and received many compliments on the finished work. Classic Roofing Products Systems went above and beyond with customer service and quality of work!
20 years later and still going strong
We got our Classic roof 20 years ago and it has withstood many extreme conditions, where others (single and metal) have not.
With the high winds, we have had a couple of the shingles unclip, but not come off. These were quickly fixed the next day. This last occasion, the roof was not affected, but the flashing was pulled away from the house. Even though not part of the roof warranty, it was quickly attended to. There are lots of metal roof companies, but Classic’s service shows why they have been around for a long time.
